Naantali’s archipelago is packed with things to do and places to see and it’s one of the most unique and beautiful archipelagos in the world.
From Naantali Old Town, you can reach the archipelago in no time. Naantali is part of the Archipelago Trail, a popular route among travelers. The Small Archipelago Trail runs through Naantali’s islands and continues from Rymättylä to Nauvo via the historic island of Seili.
During the summer season, the ferry vessel Östern operates from the port of Hanka (Rymättylä, Naantali). The route travels via Seili to Nauvo and is part of the Small Archipelago Trail.
M/S Östern runs three departures per day from Hanka and three from Nauvo during the summer season. Please check timetables on the M/S Östern website.
Ferries and connecting vessels travel from Naantali deeper into the archipelago. By combining ferry and road sections, you can create many different day trips and ring routes all the way to Åland. Cable ferries and most connecting vessels are free of charge.
