The unique Sleepyhead Festival is the jolliest festival of the year for the whole family
Visitors can enjoy shopping at the Sleepyhear Market and a variety of other events. On 27th July the Sleepyhead day, the Official Sleepyhear of the Year is thrown into the sea at 7am sharp. The fun lasts from dawn till dusk all over town. This is a must-experience in Naantali!
Sleepyhead day parade stirs hilarity before and after the morning revelation of the new Sleepyhead. The fun lasts from dawn till dusk all over town and on Kirkkopuisto’s stage. The Festival will include visitors from Moominworld, the traditional children’s dressing up competition and Sleepyhead’s Cake Competition as well as artist performances – the programme is packed with fun for the whole family. The evening comes to end with a free concert. The Sleepyhead Market is a great place for buying artisan products.
And, as a cherry on the top, almost all the events are free-of-charge!
