The Small Archipelago Trail is a shorter version of the famous Archipelago Trail, making it perfect for a one- or two-day getaway. Expect stunning seascapes, fascinating sights, restaurants and cafés, and unique places to stay.

Good to know about the route

Route is open 8.5.–13.9.2026.
• Total distance: 120 km (approx. 100 km by road).
• 3 crossings: Hämmärönsalmi cable ferry, connecting vessel M/S Östern between Hanka (Naantali) – Seili – Nauvo, and the Nauvo–Parainen ferry.
• The route passes through five cities: Turku, Raisio, Naantali, Parainen and Kaarina.
• Suggested time: 1–2 days by car, 2–3 days by bike.
• You can travel in either direction, but plan around the Naantali–Seili–Nauvo timetable – the vessel runs three times a day.

In Kultaranta, you can tour the magnificent gardens of the presidential summer residence and learn how presidents have spent their summers at the residence and in Naantali.
Theater Emma

Emma Theater is located on the scenic island of Kailo, right next to Moominworld. During the day, the theater is used by Moominworld, and in the evenings it serves as a summer theater for adults.
Kollola Heritage House

Kollola Heritage House is a former crofter’s cottage from the Isotalo farm in Järvensuu village, Merimasku, redeemed as an independent property in the 1920s. It is located near Lake Taattistenjärvi, along the old road from Merimasku to Rymättylä.
