The Housing Fair 2022 will be held on the magnificent island of Luonnonmaa in Naantali. The Ukko-Pekka Bridge offers the perfect introduction to the archipelago atmosphere and encourages the fair visitors to explore the maritime and nature-friendly residential area called the Southwest Winds (Lounatuuli in Finnish), which is built on steep cliffs while respecting the nature of the archipelago.
The Southwest Winds offers a lovely selection of housing-fair homes: detached houses, semi-detached and row houses as well as holiday homes. The fair homes have been built with the nature in mind, and the easy-to-maintain yards have been left to their natural state. Taking the archipelago nature and the rugged rocky terrain into account has been central in the planning of the area that spans almost 20 hectares. The green spaces and the lovely pine forest surrounding the plots have been preserved.
While visiting the fair locations, you can enjoy a break by the sea and admire the atmosphere of the marina and the seaside park. The solar power plant of the area is also located on the seashore, and it will collect solar energy for an intelligent transformer substation.
The Southwest Winds is where the archipelago meets the city: while the city services are nearby, the unique archipelago location lets you go to work by boat, for example, and the leisure time activities are right at your doorstep.
