Mannerheiminkatu 21 Opening hours Between the times 1.9.2025−6.4.2026 museum’s Humppi is open on Wednesday 12-18.

In summer 15.5.-31.8.2026 the museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday 11-18.

Naantali Museum consists of two buildings: Humppi and Hiilola.

Humppi hosts an archaeological exhibition on Naantali’s earliest times and a scale model of the Bridgettine convent. The exhibition ‘Life in Naantali Convent’ follows a young woman arriving at the convent, presents the ceremony of becoming a nun at the main altar, and depicts everyday life inside the monastery. Humppi also features changing thematic exhibitions exploring different angles of Naantali’s history.

In Hiilola, visitors step into 19th-century interiors portraying bourgeois life in a small town. The courtyard includes a children’s playhouse, and at the end of the lush garden you’ll find the Sau-Kallio house illustrating artisans’ living. The unified museum area with courtyards and rose gardens creates a charming setting to sense the atmosphere of the past.

The museum shop Säsonki offers interesting books and souvenirs.

Naantali Museum is an enjoyable visit; plan to spend around 1–2 hours.

Accessibility

There is a ramp on the courtyard side to the Humppi building, and the street-side entrance is covered. Humppi’s exhibition space is on one level. Hiilola’s courtyard is freely accessible, but the Hiilola house is not accessible due to stairs and high thresholds. Assistants and interpreters enter free of charge when accompanying a visitor.
