Opened in 2010, Dikseli showcases the full herring-making process from catching to salting. The venue also has a stage suitable for theatre and can be rented.

Attached to Dikseli is the Mill Museum, which reopened its doors to visitors in 2016. There is also a museum shop on the premises. Dikseli is managed by the Röölä Village Association.

On June 6, 2026, Röölä will host its annual “Herring and New Potatoes” traditional event. Come enjoy the archipelago market atmosphere! The event is organized by the Röölä Village Association.

National Early Potato Day is celebrated annually on June 15.
